General Dynamics Information Technology has an exciting opportunity for you to be included in our key personnel as a Technical Facilities Manager for our intended proposal on the Range Engineering Technical Services currently under the RTS Contract on Kwajalein. 

The mission of the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site (RTS) is to provide a Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB) activity on Kwajalein Atoll & Wake Island to support Theater and Strategic Ballistic Missiles/Missile Intercepts, NASA Space Ops and STRATCOM Space Surveillance.  The contract mission includes research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) efforts for on-site and off-site engineering, technical support services, and materials required to operate, maintain, analyze, and modify the RTS instrumentation and related support systems.

*This position requires an Active Secret Clearance*

In this role, your responsibilities will be to:

    Manage the Tech Facilities department to provide specialized facility maintenance (air conditioning / electrical / machine shop mission critical work/antenna maintenance) for the facilities which enclose range instrumentation/systems. Provide and track the status of RTS technical facilities projects for inclusion into the IMCOM (Kwajalein Garrison) AWP process. The focus of this IMCOM lead effort should be to ensure Range Facilities/critical facility systems are maintained/repaired to support mission operations. Report to the General Dynamics Information Technology RTS Program Manager and has the authority to plan, organize and staff the Tech Facilities Department. Delegate authority to empower qualified employees to make decisions and solve problems. Direct department personnel issues including hiring, firing, evaluations and disciplinary actions, and signs for material purchases. Direct budget execution, cost, schedule, and performance of the Tech Facilities Department. Additional duties as identified and assigned.
Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

Qualifications 8-10 years of related facilities administration experience, including supervisory experience.

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

    An active Secret clearance.A minimum of six to eight years’ experience in the areas of responsibilities described. Five to seven years’ experience in facilities management required.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Knowledge of Fire (NFPA), Safety (OSHA), Electrical (NEC), Building (UBC), and other applicable codes desirable.
This position is contingent upon contract award and government clearance, if required.  This position may ultimately be fulfilled by a General Dynamics Information Technology teammate.
