Monitoring Cell Analyst/Technician
- Shall monitor, identify, analyze, document, and report on events and incidents occurring on AFIN systems to include 24 AF operated systems and reported AFIN end-user degradations and outages. This task includes: - identifying outages or degradations of 24 AF operated systems within assigned AOR - deconflicting outages or degradations of 24 AF operated systems with ASI - documenting and reporting identified outages or degradations of 24 AF operated systems- Shall monitor, identify, analyze, document, and report outages or degradations of 24 AF operated systems. This task includes: - performing routine hardware/software checks for 24 AF operated equipment including: routers, switches, firewalls, web proxies, and servers (Domain Controllers, Exchange, Certificate Authorities, etc.) - de-conflict on-going ASIs with identified degradations/outages - recording routine checks in Master Station Log - collecting, documenting, and reporting actionable intelligence for initial event and incident response - Shall monitor, identify, analyze, document, and report AFIN end-user incidents. This task includes: - Performing routine queries of incident management database to identify end-user AFIN issues - Documenting and reporting actionable intelligence to military lead for initial incident response Please note: Shift work possible. Education Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Qualifications 3-5 years of directly related experience supporting network operations. Requirements:- Current Secret Security Clearance or Higher- Current 8570 IAT II Level Certification (CNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+ CE, SSCP) or higher Additional industry certifications may be required within specific time frames.
