Executive Assistant to the President of the College
St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting résumés for the position of Executive Assistant to the President. This position is responsible for supporting the President with administrative and complex secretarial support in a highly confidential office. Duties include organizing, administering, and coordinating the office workload to meet the president’s schedules and objectives, maintaining office records and confidential files, arranging and coordinating travel plans, and monitoring the office budget. This position requires a high level of professionalism.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred. At least six years' office administration experience in a fast paced, multi-faceted office, preferably in a higher education environment. Expertise with various software applications preferred. Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills essential. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
