Holistic, drug and alcohol treatment center is looking for a Clinical Supervisor to oversee our outpatient program in Northern Virginia. Sagebrush offers residential and outpatient services in Great Falls, Vienna, and Tyson’s Corner, VA. We focus on addressing the root causes of addiction and the underlying traumatic events that contribute to addictions. We have created a sacred place where clients come to heal and recover from the deepest sorrows and most difficult patterns of thought and behavior.

Must have experience working from a person centered as well as a family systems, integrative perspective. Experience treating trauma related to addiction is also essential.

Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a chemical dependency or related clinical setting as well as at least 2 years of management or supervisory experience.  We offer an integrative clinical program and are looking for a clinician who is holistic minded, engaging and passionate about the healing and the transformative work of recovery. The person we are looking for is people oriented, a problem solver, takes initiative and works well with a team.

This is a full-time position in which the candidate will be responsible for administrative, supervisory and clinical services including managing staff schedules and group programming, facilitating staff meetings, and oversight of assessment, admissions, treatment planning, and discharge processes. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia is required. Must also have training and experience providing individual and group clinical supervision to unlicensed post-masters clinicians and licensed clinicians.  Additional certifications in substance abuse are preferred. Must be eligible to register with relevant board under Department of Health Professions to provide supervision for post-masters unlicensed clinicians.

The qualities the successful candidate will possess are:

- Confidence in working with addictions and family system dynamics

- Working knowledge of the 12-step program of recovery

- Collaborative leadership style

- Organized, innovative, creative and compassionate

- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, etc.)

- Ability to facilitate groups and individual sessions with staff and clients, and conduct assessments

- Familiarity with alternative practices including the benefits of yoga, art therapy, nutrition, massage, energy medicine, etc.
