Position Summary The Sales Manager reports directly to the General Sales Manager General responsibilities are to assist in meeting the sales and settlement goals for the respective community as established by the General Sales Manager While striving to attain these goals the Sales Manager must ensure that a professional atmosphere is created and adhered to by conducting himself in a fair and equitable manner Additionally the Sales Manager must adhere to the rules and guidelines as required by Fair Housing Laws Key Duties And Responsibilities Meet sales and settlement goals as defined by the General Sales Manager Maintain an active role in all aspects of customer service setting and managing all homeowners expectations through their home buying process Procure and follow up on sales leads to produce sales Guide and advise buyers through the New Home Sales Process Complete accurate and timely contract paperwork Follow and track loans at assigned community Inform homebuyers of construction status estimated delivery date etc throughout the home buying process Implement sales plan for assigned community Maintain Sales Simplicity system Follow up with past traffic on daily weekly basis through phone calls written correspondence other mailings Self generate traffic through visits to realtor offices mailing flyers presentations to clubs and organizations and relationships with relocation companies Maintenance of sales office and model homes Attendance at sales meetings as well as other periodic meetings General knowledge of home building market and competition to assigned community Weekly submission of reporting required by General Sales Manager Qualifications Requirements Education or related experience in the construction industry is an asset Coursework towards the New Homes Sales Professional certification or certification would be considered an asset A proven track record of new home sales Highly organized and detail orientated The ability to learn fast and think on the go Strong verbal and written communication skills A proven ability to manage varied clientele with individual needs Must be available to work on weekends The Company Brookfield Residential is a leading North American land developer and homebuilder with one goal in mind to create the best places to call home From the development of award winning master planned communities to the design and construction of premier homes and commercial properties we are committed to cultivating exceptional life experience for our customers and for our employees Building great communities and homes takes vision and dedication but most importantly it takes a strong team Having been in business for more than years we know it is our people who make Brookfield Residential what it is today We were humbled to be named by Aon as one of the Best Employers in Canada and US in
