Job Description At ePurchasingNetwork, we're on a mission to enable B2B commerce between Manufacturers and Buyers by taking the friction out of purchasing transactions and the complexities of multi-step Industries. The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to build new relationships and strategies to generate interest from potential clients in existing or new vertical markets for our SaaS-based commerce platform. This is a full-time, high-activity business interaction & prospecting role that uses email and phone to set-up demos with potential customers and manufacturers. The BDM will play an active role in supporting sales-related Conferences and Exhibits of the platform and follow up with leads and opportunities generated across a spectrum of lead-generating media. ePN will provide sales resources and executive mentorship to help you achieve monthly and quarterly goals, with opportunities for training, increased compensation, and career road-mapping. Candidates that prove themselves in this position will be promoted to the Sales team on a dedicated and process-driven path to becoming a SaaS Enterprise Account Executive. Develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. Business Development Managers work with senior level management, marketing, and technical staff. We have developed a unique cloud-based commerce platform which clients are able to private-label and develop an online-commerce capability rapidly. Our leadership team possesses a diverse skills-portfolio in Manufacturing, SaaS, Sales, Marketing and Product Development. Responsibilities: Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments. Build and maintain contact data in HubSpot Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals. Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. Participate in pricing the solution/service. Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships. Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends. Present to and consult senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators. Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team. Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner. Requirements: Business development management positions require a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of sales or marketing experience.
