Program Manager -- ANDSF Advisory Support Services (Contingent)
Job Description This position is contingent upon contract award. Job Description The Program Manager is responsible for planning, directing, controlling and monitoring OCONUS programs to ensure satisfactory completion of the program objectives. Willing to deploy to Kabul, Afghanistan for extended periods of time. Primary responsibility for all aspects of program execution. The PM will be responsive to and coordinate closely with the COR and Program Office to ensure effective program management. The PM also interfaces with the Contract Officer on contractual matters of the program Ensure necessary resources are provided to meet program requirements, directing, controlling, and ensuring procurements are made in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Responsible for review of invoices and for ensuring their accuracy and timely submittal to the customer. PM will also ensure all deliverables, reports, and products are properly completed and submitted on time Responsible for managing and monitoring PIT staff members who support general programmatic activities and track mission essential items being delivered to all supported sites in Afghanistan Track budgets and monitor reports to ensure that expenditures do not exceed authorized limits Attends meetings with the Contract Officer Representative (COR) to discuss program and contractual issues Required Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree and a background in the management of projects or organizations of similar size and scope, Knowledge of operational methods of US military, Eight years' experience in a related Government or business field, Knowledge of operational methods of US civilian police and/or US military, Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and Knowledge of various computer programs required (ie Excel, Word, and Outlook).
