Our client is currently seeking an ASP.NET Developer. This job will have the following responsibilities: The Developer will assist the team to expand their core platform by integrating capabilities and developing key services. In this contract role, the key trait is leadership through problem solving: This individual must exhibit independent creativity, a curiosity to research new ecommerce technologies and methodologies, and a pervasive desire to dig into complex technical issues while respecting timelines, team commitments, and government processes. The scope of this work shall include collaboratively interacting with procurement and web development teams to produce (design and develop) strategies for internal ecommerce shopping portal as well as improve legacy Ecommerce application. The candidate will be responsible for enhancing current workflows built in SharePoint environment to Ecommerce processes. The candidate will design and code web pages and business applications using a variety of graphics software applications, tools and techniques. Qualifications & Requirements: ** Eligible to be processed for a Public Trust Level 6 Security Clearance Demonstrated, senior-level experience in producing responsive, multi-platform web applications using a variety of integrated development environments, graphics software applications, techniques, and tools. Possess knowledge of ecommerce platforms and concepts. The engineer must possess detailed knowledge of web development, specifically Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2016, network engineering, SQL Server databases, and desktop applications. Possesses knowledge of relational database design and query concepts. Possesses knowledge of current web-based technologies and trends such as HTML 5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, and media queries. Possesses knowledge of security protocols and components applicable to ecommerce. Knowledge of Business 2 Business ecommerce systems. OS/PowerShell scripting SharePoint Platform/Content Management development System Administration/Engineering Possesses knowledge of electronic data interchange as it applies to ecommerce. Familiar with procurement and related processes and workflows. Contribute to the visual appeal of online offerings and communications. Develop content for customer internal and/or external web sites. Use modern scripting technologies to automate business processes in support of the customer's strategies and goals. Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates. Support debugging of customer intranet applications as needed. Assist with server, network and communications infrastructure issues as needed. Provide application administration in terms of performance, maintenance, synchronization, security, and accessibility of production web and business applications. Comprehensive knowledge of various past and present information technology solutions. Understanding of system development life cycle processes and procedures. Demonstrated senior level experience and maturity in collaborating with various teams and audiences. Adjudicated Public Trust Level 5 (MBI) (or ability to receive said EOD Waiver as a result of an SF85P+85P-S investigation) Preferred: Previous experience with nopCommerce or comparable ecommerce tool such as Shopify or OpenCart.Experience with SharePoint 2013/2016 workflow development. Experience with implementing SAML authentication systems, such as ADFS, OKTA, or SecureAuth. Working knowledge with ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2015, Microsoft Office Experience with CSS framework such as Bootstrap or Material Design Experience using a client-side template engine such as Underscore, Handlebars, etc. Experience using JQuery and various forms-related plugins Experience using a charting library such as D3.js, Chart.js, etc. Experience managing and deploying applications to a web server Experience with designing and maintaining a relational database UI/UX design skills
