A Sila Cloud Solutions Architect (SA) understands best practices and enjoys imparting that knowledge to Sila s clients. Join us today and support federal clients and teaming partners in building and operating scalable, resilient and secured cloud architectures using leading edge technologies. In this role, you will implement cloud-based solutions and facilitate the migration of existing applications to the cloud. Responsibilities: Work with technical support resources to establish and operate environments within AWS/C2S environments. Utilize technical assets to assist with 1) Setting up the development, test, and production environments; and, 2) Application specific DBA and System Administration tasks in the migration of databases to the AWS/C2S environment. Implement and Configure Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Establish server, compute, and storage Assist application DBA with migration of 4 application instances Implement Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG s) on Windows and Red Hat Enterprise servers Assist with System Authorization needs across environments Requirements: 5 years experience supporting design and distributed application implementation 5 years experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking 5 years experience in systems engineering or solutions architecture One year experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud Technical degree; Computer Science or Math background highly desired Candidates for this opportunity must be US citizens and hold a TS/SCI US Government clearance with CI polygraph.
