AccountabilitiesResponsibilities include: Analyze and define solutions for business or system problems using JDA Manugistics and supply planning and forecasting software applications. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configure system settings; plan and execute unit, integration and user acceptance testing; and create specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Design, configuration, and functional experience in the JDA Fulfillment and Demand modules or their equivalents. Gather, document and clarify business requirements from the end users. Assist in prioritizing requirements from a business and end user perspective. Collaborate with other functional analysts to review requirements and develop possible solutions. Ensure functional requirements are clear and align with business requirements. Maintain existing system functionality while initiating new features and other software applications. Research and resolve problems. Test business processes and customize functionality during migrations, upgrades, etc. Advise on the management of configuration and testing across the JDA environment. Work with key business users to configure and modify Manugistics to meet business requirements using Best Practices. Translate the overall business process design established during requirement gathering sessions into business specifications. Ensure a global solution using as much standard design is implemented. Work with legacy system team to design, test and implement data interfaces for Manugistics projects. Create design and training documentation. Perform unit and quality testing. Work with users to achieve favorable user test acceptance. Work with rest of Supply Chain applications team to investigate and resolve service tickets. Manage projects of small to medium size and scope. Responsible for utilizing PLSQL knowledge in the development of functional business requirements. Develop test scenarios and test cases using testing tools including HPQC. 10% domestic travel. Required Skills and ExperienceApplicant must possess a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or in a related field and 5 years of professional experience in JDA Manugistics and supply planning and forecasting software applications. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience in: 1.) Configuring system settings; planning and executing unit, integration and user acceptance testing; and creating specifications for systems to meet business requirements; 2.) Gathering, documenting and clarifying business requirements from the end users; 3.) Maintaining existing system functionality while initiating new features and other software applications; 4.) Testing business processes and customize functionality during migrations, upgrades, etc.; 5.) Utilizing PLSQL knowledge in the development of functional business requirements; and 6.) Developing test scenarios and test cases using testing tools including HPQC.
