HTii (formerly Holmes-Tucker) is a small defense contractor in Lexington Park, MD with satellite offices in Crystal City, VA; Fort Worth, TX; Suffolk, VA; and China Lake, CA. We have installed and operated our computer-based Test Information Management System (TIMS) and our Requirements Management System (RMS) at DoD and US Navy sites for several years. Additional information about our company and products is available at www.htii.com . We are now searching for a qualified person to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This position will assist the customer with identification, documentation and management of design requirements. Position requires frequent customer interface and close coordination with government and contractor personnel at all levels of management. The successful candidate will support the program manager's day-to-day requirements development activities that normally include: * Application of IBM tools (Jazz and DOORS) for development and configuration management of specific program design requirement documentation. * Maintaining linkage and traceability among program documentation within the requirements database. * Managing the configuration of system requirements through change processes. * Supporting conduct of project status reviews with the customer. * Providing input to monthly reports detailing contract activities. Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline is required. Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience is desired. Exceptional communication (written and spoken) abilities are required. Excellent computer skills and familiarity with MS Office applications are also required. The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A background in military or civil aviation and/or experience in DoD acquisition is highly desired.
