Lead Audio Visual Technician / Installer
Lead Audio/Video Technician: to oversee the onsite installation of new audio/video systems and the upgrade of existing systems. The technician needs to be highly skilled in one or more technical disciplines with significant integration experience (min. 3 years). The installer must be knowledgeable in all phases of systems integration, capable of working independently, can take lead or supervisory role on most projects and able to effectively interface with client and other trades. The technician should have some formal technical training and hold certification(s). Candidate needs to possess strong leadership and communication skills and be dedicated to quality customer interactions. Qualifications: Proficient in knowledge of: Signal Flow, Cabling, Signal types, Rigging, Industry Standards and CAD Drawings Strong system troubleshooting skills. Ability to resolve complex issues with detailed systems. Willing to instruct junior technicians on the installation of audio/video systems when needed. Motivated self-starter that can quickly adjust to changing priorities, support multiple projects at the same time, and meet deadlines. Perform comprehensive commercial, onsite audio/video equipment installation including: Low voltage wiring, terminations including multi-pin network and fiber, equipment rack wiring, programming, testing and installation. Determine Structural installation for Line arrays, ceiling speakers, video walls, TVs, monitors, projectors and projection screen installation Determine cable pull paths and pull cable Perform general construction responsibilities: ie: rigging, concrete drilling, drywall cutting and patching, ceiling tile cutting and reinstallation, equipment load in and load out, floor box. installation etc Ability to work on man lifts and high locations. Maintain a clean driving record. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
