One of our primary focus areas is the development of sensors, software defined radio (SDR), and embedded systems for Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) applications. We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to assist in our continued growth in this area. This is an excellent opportunity for a rising star to get real, hands-on experience doing work that directly supports our Nation's security mission!Candidates must have a broad understanding of technologies required for embedded systems, including: firmware development, programmable logic, and FPGA development. Candidates must be experienced in one or more of these areas. The candidate chosen for this position will also participate in concept development, requirements definitions, and system design. Qualifications Required (Skills) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experienceMinimum of five years of direct, demonstrated experience in the design and development of Software Defined Radios (SDR) applications, or a related field.Experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) implemented in embedded systems for RF communications and measurement systemsExperience developing firmware for SDR applications, including design and implementation targeting resource constrained hardware.Experience in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design and analysisStrong experience in FPGA and firmware developmentAbility to conceptualize, define, design, and implement new systems and technologies.A self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN. General Education/Years of Experience BS or equiv; min 5 yrs related exp US Citizenship Yes Security Clearance Level Secret Drug Screen Type None Export Control and Licensing None Background Check Type 7 year Qualifications Desired *Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.*Seven or more years of professional experience, including comprehensive knowledge of PNT technologies and related fields.*Experience with RF communications theory.*Modeling and calibration of radio hardware platforms and semi-empirical modeling of electronic devices.*Experience with PNT systems, specifically with GPS or other RF Time of Arrival (TOA) systems.*Experience in Integrated Circuit (IC) design.*A CURRENT AND ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
