At Bello Machre, the Family Living Director provides oversight for one of our campus-based or community-based residential homes, providing care and support to three (maximum of six) adults with developmental disabilities. Homes are located throughout Anne Arundel and Carroll Counties. The Director ensures that our employees are helping the people we serve to learn independent living skills, plan activities in the home and community, and implement individual program plans. In addition to supporting the people living in the home, additional responsibilities include maintaining and balancing house funds, scheduling and attending medical appointments, and supervising other support staff who also work in the home. We provide a family-style setting for the people we serve and the staff supporting them! The Family Living Director is a unique live-in position (family/friends are also welcome to live-in, upon approval) that generally works 40 to 50 hours per week, usually a split shift, Monday - Friday (mornings and evenings). Eligible candidates must be at least 21 years old and must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver's license with a good driving record for the last three years.
