A prestigious nation-wide association is in search for a Vendor Relations Manager that will focus on securing multiple advertising contract commitments in Provider magazine, manage Associate Business Member dues, sponsorships and exhibits; towards an overall $5+ million dollar goal in non-dues revenue for the Association. A Bachelors' degree, excellent sales presentation and closing skills, and 3-5 years' sales experience required. We are seeking applicants with five years of progressive and successful advertising sales history with a proven track record in a B2B capacity. Experience closing individual sales transactions.The qualified candidate will be responsible for successful relationship building at a senior level with companies within designated territory that directly results in non-dues revenue generation in the advertising and associate business membership, sponsorship and exhibits; responsible for preparation of targeted sales proposals and presentation to clients; responsible for tracking and reporting individual performance measures on a weekly basis to report outcomes to the Senior Director, Vendor Relations; responsible for contacting a minimum of 25 companies daily, 10 of which are new sales prospect calls; and other duties as assigned.
