A mid-sized law firm in Washington DC is seeking a temporary Legal Recruiting Assistant, to provide assistance to the Legal Recruiting Department with recruiting and hiring lawyers, and with providing administrative support for the fall hiring season. The qualified candidate will have proficiency in MS Office, the ability to multi-task, work independently as well as with a team, great interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work under stressful and confidential conditions while staying professional. Different tasks include administrative support of the firm's annual recruitment process, recruiting and tracking candidates, generating interview schedules and assembling interview material, entering information into recruiting database, filing, preparing correspondence to lawyers and law student applicants, and assisting with special projects as needed. The candidate will also have daily administrative duties such as sorting department mail, processing check requests and paying invoices, processing and tracking expenses, scheduling room reservations, as well as assembling binders and information for meetings. Bachelor's Degree or work experience which demonstrates the ability to handle multiple tasks, minimum typing of 45 wpm, and exceptional communication skills required.
