Refer Save Apply Job ID: BST-13724 Description: Supports the goals and objectives of the Food and Nutrition Services Department by performing the functions of various areas including: cafeteria, sanitation, food production, diet office catering, tray assembly, and tray passer.Assembles patient trays according to diet guidelinesPlates hot food from steamtable, according to the guidelines for proper portions, and puts in proper transtronic cart.Delivers trays to patients accurately and efficiently.Assembles floor stock onto carts using requisition list consistently.Cleans equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings.Responds to patient and nursing requests immediately.Unloads dirty dishes and trays from carts and puts onto dishmachine.Operates Spectralink phone efficiently.Interacts with patients in a professional manner.Transports carts to and from the kitchen safely.Operates transtronic carts according to instructions.If serving as a bilingual/multilingual interpreter, certification in Medical Interpretation is required to perform the duties of a qualified interpreter.Required Minimum Experience: Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations and follow written and oral instructions.Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
