Refer Save Apply Job ID: MMK-59471 Description: The Manager of Diversity and Inclusion will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the diversity program strategy. Serves as a system-wide resource providing guidance, tools, and opportunities for leaders and staff to empower and provide them with the skills needed to affect diversity and inclusion change in work units.Regularly assess diversity and inclusion initiatives. Identify areas of opportunity, develop recommended courses of action, secure approval and drive implementation.Develops coaching strategies with leadership and implements communication efforts that address specific concerns and issues relating to diversity and/or cross- cultural initiatives and activities.Promotes an inclusive work environment by supporting staff-led resource/affinity groups and chairing diversity related councils/committees.Provides or arranges for core diversity education and workshops.Design and implement metrics, monitoring and reporting systems to effectively benchmark progress in diversity and inclusion.Ensure diversity outcomes are reflected in the workforce/workplace and in business activities, including marketing materials, suppliers/vendors and community facing efforts.Coordinate diversity communication to internal and external constituents.Support the integration of diversity and inclusion efforts with patient care, quality, and safety.Participate in recruitment and outreach to diverse communities. Develop partnerships with community organizations, religious institutions, higher education, government and others.Coordinate organization's response to diversity surveys.Knowledge/Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferredSeven years of human resources experience, with three years in a focused diversity role and two years in a leadership position.Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation/presentation. Solid knowledge of diversity and inclusion, affirmative action, best practices and industry trends. Proven track record of project management and ability to drive programs that result in positive organizational change. Ability to speak Spanish a plus.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.There is reasonable anticipation that employees in this position will not be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.
