About the Opportunity DMI is seeking to hire a Drupal Developer to support the Federal Government customer in the DC metro area. The right candidate must be an experienced Drupal developer able to work on custom modules, existing modules and back-end website administration and databases and assist a Lead Front-end Developer on creating these websites. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with Drupal custom module and custom theme development and advanced content management functionality.Produce a solid, detailed technical design for each application that is being workedWork with the development team to help re-platform legacy applications to DrupalWrite clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements as outlined by the Lead Developer and Applications Development ManagerProof and resolve technical issuesWork on taxonomy, back-end content administration, databases and Drupal blocksPerforming estimation of task(s) durations and levels of effortExperience developing user interfaces for Drupal.Experience developing PHP Unit Test Scripts and performing code reviewsFamiliarity with program specifications and diagrams, and develops coding logic flowcharts and various UML diagrams.Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and written, to end users and executive management, understanding when to speak up and deliver an assertive message in support of the project.
