SUMMARYThe Senior HR Manager for Engineering, IT, Finance, Legal is a strategic and visible leader reporting directly to the VP, Human Resources for the Access business segment of Oshkosh Corporation. Partnering with the Oshkosh functional HR team, the Senior HR Manager will have accountability for the 420 team members in Engineering, IT, Finance and Legal across the Access Segment.The role is required to have a strong strategic and tactical capability and is relied on for council, leadership, execution, innovation and results that fully enable the assigned groups and in turn the business segment to meet its strategic and organizational priorities.The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of all areas of global Human Resources and have HR Generalist experience for a professional population. The candidate will have the ability to build best-in-class strategies for organizational design and development, strategic talent acquisition and workforce planning, leadership development, and employee relations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide HR leadership in the areas of organization effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, employee retention, change management, manager coaching, employee and leadership development, succession planning, talent acquisition and retention, for the assigned groups.Works closely with leadership of assigned groups, delivering solutions to meet organization needs while implementing and sustaining change initiatives to improve organization performance and enable a people first culture.Creates, implements, and oversees processes and procedures, to support and ensure legal compliance for all requirements and regulations in assigned locations related to all areas of Human Resources.Promotes a positive work environment and ensures employee relations issues are effectively addressed in a timely manner.Participates in the Access segment HR planning processes and ensures that all HR programs and policies are aligned with organizational goals and priorities in support of the segment's strategic and financial goals.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business10 -plus years of related experienceAt least 6 years of HR Generalist/ Business Partner Experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree*OSK123 *LI-TLD1 Oshkosh Corporation is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
