Senior Business Analyst - Aftermarket Applications - Used & Rental (G12) SummaryResponsible for helping to define, develop and support critical business integrations to both internal and external applications at JLG. Our integrations support all major lines of business including whole goods and aftermarket sales and integrate our key systems to a wide variety of partners globally. Our current integrations are approaching end of life and are built using a variety of technologies which we plan to phase out with a standardized web service framework, which this role will be key in helping to define and develop. ResponsibilitiesFunction as the primary Information Technology analyst supporting the definition and development of Restful web services to support critical business integrations.Working under the direction of the Senior Manager - Digital Solutions, have primary responsibility for the planning, design and support of high quality integration solutions designed to support a wide variety of transactions between internal JLG and external partner systems. Work directly with JLG's technical architect to analyze current state integrations and identify areas of potential improvement through rearchitecture.Identify and document potential new solutions or enhancements to existing solutions, using the approved Oshkosh methodology.Work with JLG Business Analysts to develop and document functional and technical requirements to support our and eCommerce solutions.Work closely with out sourced/near shore developers.While primary support role will be with the Access segment, when necessary participate on select corporate-wide cross segment IT projects and initiatives.Actively participate in new business initiatives to bring an IT solutions perspective to business challenges. Become "the" go-to person for supporting our system integration capabilities. Specific Technical Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum of 5 years work experience working with high transaction volume systemsPrior experience working with both packaged software implementation and custom software development.Prior experience working with integrating software from multiple suppliers into a cohesive solution for the business.Prior experience working in the auto industry, heavy equipment industry, forklift industry or similar is preferred.Prior experience working with a plus.Prior experience working with eCommerce solutions a plus.Prior experience working with mobile application development a plus.Prior experience with Mapics, Oracle or JD Edwards ERP solutions a plus.Comfort level working in a highly matrixed organization.CBAP, ITIL, ITSM and PMP certification a plusPrior experience with the following technologies; JAVA, JavaScript, JSON, BootStrap, SVN Source Management, IBM's WebSphere and MQ platforms, Spring, Restful web services, C#, and .netOther RequirementsBachelor's degree requiredExperience working in a global organizationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel 25%-50%, domestically and internationally *OSK123*LI-TDL1 Oshkosh Corporation is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
