Licensure Coordinator / Human Resource AssistantVerifies that all new-hires & transfers have obtained the required licensure/certifications based on position description, by ensuring accuracy of the primary source verification and entry into the licensure table within the HRIS database. Verifies licensure/certification renewals through primary source verification, utilizing various Licensing Board websites and health system databases.Enters all licensure/certification renewals in Payroll/HRIS system, checking against the position description to ensure all requirements are accurately reflected, and scans updated copies of licensure renewals into Payroll/HRIS system.Communicates with leadership and staff regarding licensure/certification needs and issues; prepares and distributes licensure reports as needed.Provides backup coverage to Front Desk staff daily; supports recruitment process as requested by creating new employee files, auditing, assisting with events and other duties as assigned.Required Minimum Experience: Five years office/administrative support work with increasing levels of responsibility, involving detailed, confidential and time sensitive tasks and responsibilities. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.Preferred Education: College coursework preferred.Preferred Experience: Prior experience working with healthcare credentialing and/or compliance setting is preferred.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.60-70% of time will be spent in front of a computer.
