Join Raytheon in Supporting the Naval Cyber Mission!Raytheon has an ongoing need for cleared candidates to provide technical and management services to rapidly develop and deploy new capabilities to conduct cyber operations.Services will include, but are not limited to, agile development, system engineering, Cyber Hardening, MALWARE reverse engineering, vulnerability discovery and attack forensics.Engineers, analysts and operators will team to ensure Naval capabilities outpace changes to this dynamic cyber threat environment.Our team will develop advanced capabilities and bring them to bear to swiftly address emergent mission requirements.Selected candidates will actively contribute to cyber capabilities development, planning and execution of both real-world operations and training exercises.The program is an IDIQ contract with task orders that cover the following areas:.Security Engineering for cybersecurity.Technology Assessment.Requirements Analysis.Systems Engineering.Software Development and Prototyping.Hardware Development and Prototyping.Capabilities Development and Transition.Cyber Operational and Technical Support.Exercise and Experimentation Support.Modeling and Simulation.Training SupportWork will be performed at various CONUS locations, primarily in San Diego, CA, Fort Meade, MD and Dulles, VA.*Job Description:The Cyber Engineer designs, develops, documents, analyzes, tests, integrates, debugs, conducts research and/or discovers and analyzes security flaws or vulnerabilities in software, networks, systems, applications and/or provide mitigation strategies. The Cyber Engineer ensures system security needs are established and maintained for various objects/matters. Integrates new architectural features into existing infrastructures, design cyber security architectural artifacts, provide architectural analysis of cyber security features and relate existing system to future needs and trends. Evaluates computer software and network for threats and/or malware Collects data from a variety of network security tools, including intrusion detection system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, and host system logs to analyze events that occur within their environment. Employs and provides computer advanced forensic tools, techniques, and intrusion support for attack reconstruction and high technology investigations, while reviewing threat data from various sources. This position may also identify network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators. Job Requirements:.Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information is required .Degree or equivalent experience.Must have a minimum of 8 years professional experience.DoD 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level II.Some positions may require experience in the implementation and execution of agile development (SCRUM certified) for capabilities development.Strong leadership skills to foster innovation while keeping team on schedule and budget .Hand-on implementation experience with network security devices, protection platforms, and monitoring tools..Experience in governments security accreditation processes to include Risk Management Framework.Must have strong experience in cyber threat methodology, analysis and vulnerability discovery.Clear understanding of how cyber impacts operational systems and Naval missions..Strong technical writing skills. Excellent organization skills to support work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment..Self-motivated, including ability to effectively perform tasks under pressureDesired Requirements, Certifications and Training:.SCRUM, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification and SANS/GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification .Network security certifications .MS in related field .Familiarity with Federal Government networks and technical requirements .Familiarity with Naval systems and processes.Knowledge / experience with SCADA technologies.TS SCI with poly highly desiredNOTE: This position will be either a Principal Cyber Engineer I (E05) or Principal Cyber Engineer II (E06) depending on the successful candidates experience and other qualifications.These positions are contingent upon task order award and government approval 89714
