I have been retained to find a Strategic Business Development/Marketing Manager, reporting directly to the company CEO, for a rapidly growing manufacturer in the building materials industry.Be the leader developing the company's strategies and plans to increase its share in existing markets and identify growth opportunities in new markets. Serve as part of the strategic business development team working with the VP of Sales and Marketing to develop, implement, and manage strategic and tactical plans at a national and regional level and drive performance related to sales and profitability goals.Analyze company's performance in the market (volume, sales, market share, pricing.) Prepare detailed analysis of core business, including technologies, competing products, labor costs, distribution channels and trends.Position offers the right candidate an excellent career path with long term growth and advancement potential.Draft business plan(s) for new product launches and business growth for all targeted market segments (Home Centers, Professional Distribution, Installers.)Develop and validate the Business Plan for North America.Develop global knowledge of the building products industry.Develop a deep understanding of market and customer requirements.Bachelors in Marketing or Business (Degree Required)Demonstrated track record using research, strategic thinking and financial modeling skills to support business strategies.4 plus years' experience in strategic planning, market research, market analytics, quantitative analysis or any combination of these roles.Strong planning skills and ability to understand long-term goals.Ability to multitask and follow through with projects containing a high level of detail Strong analytical and financial skills .
