Marketing Manager, LewisGale Regional Health SystemJob Summary: This position is based in Salem, Virginia and is a member of the marketing team responsible for LewisGale Medical Center, LewisGale Hospital Montgomery, LewisGale Hospital Pulaski, LewisGale Hospital Alleghany, 2 cancer centers, and outpatient imaging centers. Working closely with the Market VP/Director of Marketing for LewisGale Regional Health System, this role supports the health system's branding and growth goals with the development and execution of measurable, multi-channel service line campaigns, internal communications, and earned media opportunities. While the role emphasizes tactical execution, it also requires someone who can think and act strategically and help shape the organization's marketing direction. Takes on lead marketing role in the absence of the Market VP/Director of Marketing. Major Responsibilities:*Provides marketing support for all LewisGale facilities and service lines, including development and execution of select service line marketing plans. Depending on plan and targeted audiences, this may include content development for collaterals, website, e-newsletter, digital and social channels, media releases, articles, community education events, and other communication channels. *While the majority of consumer-facing marketing and communication pieces are designed by our Creative Services team, this position must be able to design internal pieces in Microsoft Publisher. *Assists in writing new website content and keeping existing content up-to-date and accurate. Will be assigned select service lines to improve consumer engagement and call to actions. *Works with vendor to develop facility / service line / patient testimonials - video and print. *Assists in development /execution of social media strategy, including frequent Facebook and LinkedIn posts.*Assists with Reputation Management monitoring and follow up. *Write and design weekly employee newsletter for LewisGale Medical Center and assists with other internal communications. *Assists in measuring impact of marketing activities using ROI modeling.Education, Experience, and Required Skills: Undergraduate degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, business, communications or a related field from an accredited college or university. Background in healthcare a plus. Candidate must have a strong generalist marketing background and a proven track record in creating and implementing multi-channel campaigns that utilize traditional, digital, and social media marketing approaches. Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills are a must, as well as project management and analytical skills. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to interact with diverse internal and external groups in a way that reflects favorably on the organization. Must be a self-starter, have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, and have a sense of responsibility for completing project assignments and service line goals. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel) and Sales Force (e-news portion).
