Banquet Server/ On-Call
Banquet Servers are responsible for serving residents and guest meals in a friendly, service-oriented manner. The Banquet Server delivers and serves food, ensures exceptional guest service. This position requires the ability to multi task with a sense of urgency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. 1. Implementing catered food service to the specifications requested by the client. 2. Presenting catered menu items in a manner to maximize appeal and freshness. 3. Works safely, consistently using designated safety equipment (personal protective equipment- PPE). 4. Handles guest complaints in a positive and professional manner 5. Flexible with job duties. 6. As assigned works all shifts and holidays. 7. Able to work in a high pace environment. 8. As assigned, performs catering function set up, break down and service. 9. Organizes tasks and completes all assigned tasks. Ability to perform tasks concurrently. 10. Maintains front of house and kitchen sanitation requirements. 11. Understands and complies with all company safety policies. 12. Reports to work on time and in complete uniform. 13. Communicates appropriately with supervisors and dining room staff. Listens and follows up effectively. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience in a kitchen/service environment preferred.
