RESPONSIBILITIES:Plans and oversees execution of social media campaigns for major accounts, ensuring that the strategies and activations help achieve clients' marketing and communications objectivesConducts content audits and provides sound, specific recommendations to improve the effectiveness of clients' social media content strategy and engagement, as well as digital content plans and processesLiaises with SEO/SEM team as well as colleagues in EMX in order to determine best-way-in approaches to integrated marketing challengesConceptualizes brand partnership and influencer marketing programs based on clients' target audiences, budgets and business objectivesTakes a leadership role (alongside client service) in synthesizing and writing social media and digital strategiesReviews program budgets and scopes for clients' content initiatives; leads team in identifying opportunities to help clients achieve their objectives in general business strategy, industry issues, products and services offered, customers and competitors in the marketplaceDefines key performance indicators and directs social teammates on how to implement enterprise-level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge successCreates Content Studio case studies, decks and progress reports for internal use and/or for presentation to clientsWrites and edits social content for select clients as neededConducts effective competitive-set research using tools such as Spredfast, Meltwater and Meltwater Buzz; when needed, calls upon on-retainer research firms to solicit broader strategic viewpoints on key verticalsApplies marketing research to understand emerging trends and technologies; contextualizes information and communicates this knowledge clearly and concisely to clientsDemonstrates an understanding of assigned clients' business priorities, as well as those of the agency at largeWhen required, represents HZ during business development pitches, external meetings, conferences and other organizational activitiesDevelops integrated "bootcamp"-style training classes for HZ (eg, "Content Marketing Secrets" or "Influencer Marketing 101")Performs other reasonable duties as required for this positionREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or similar field; candidates with ongoing study (continuing education certifications or master's degree) are preferred10 years of professional work experience in the field of digital marketing, content marketing, publishing or social mediaAt least five years of client side or agency experience in digital/online mediaA demonstrated passion for social media is a must Professional immersion in social marketing is mandatoryExperience working with clients in the lifestyle/consumer products and/or hospitality space is preferredExpert-level understanding of new and emerging social platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr, Periscope, Vine, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.Excellent communications (written/verbal), presentation and analytical skills with the ability to craft appropriate strategies, develop presentations, POVs and key strategic documents to provide thought leadership and drive innovationWorking knowledge of the modern marketing landscape-SEO, SEM, analytics, influencer marketing, EMX, etc.Interacts with others in a way that builds openness, trust, and confidence in the pursuit of organizational goals and lasting relationshipsApply for this job
