Role SummaryThe successful candidate will join the growing team of Electrify America, a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group of America leading the implementation of the $2B Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Investment Plan. Electrify America is tasked with creating and facilitating a highly visible, reliable, interoperable and driver-oriented Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure network to support the increased adoption of Electric Vehicles in California and the rest of the United States. It will create the "Gas Stations of the Future" by investing in a range of current and future charging technologies that will provide ubiquitous access to EV drivers along highways, in metro areas, at multi-unit dwells, at workplaces and in ridesharing programs. Electrify America will also invest in initiatives to increase the awareness and education of driving electric and will support a number of strategic 'Green Cities' programs in California. Through its programs, Electrify America's investment will enable millions of Americans to discover the benefits of driving electric.The Account Management Analyst will play an important role in Electrify America's Real Estate Planning and Acquisition team and will be responsible for supporting all account management activities with land owners, retail brands, real estate developers and brokers. They will work alongside the group's Real Estate Research and Planning team to use analytical tools and geospatial resources to identify and develop leads with potential EV charging site hosts. The candidate will be responsible for developing presentation materials and working across the organization to solicit and collect relevant research and subject matter expertise for business development collaterals. They will maintain strong relationships with real estate accounts throughout the contracting, installation, commissioning and operational phases. The candidate will track all real estate business development activities via the company's CRM tool and train other team members on use of the tool for reporting and KPI achievement. They will use their analytical tools to continue to monitor real estate industry trends, identify partnership opportunities with new and emerging brands and propose new and innovative ways of connecting drivers with site hosts' products and services.The candidate will have experience in account management and business development and will be an effective communicator. They will help maintain 'one voice' with real estate partners for Electrify America activities and ensure relationships are solidly maintained with site hosts throughout the operational period of charging infrastructure on their properties. The candidate will be a problem solver and help respond to and resolve challenges with site hosts related to the charger installation process and/or operational phase. They will be critical member of the team to ensure Electrify America reaches its ambitious site acquisition objectives.Role Responsibilities* Collects and synthesizes team research to identify viable land owners, garages, workplaces, multi-unit dwellings, fueling stations and retail brands for placement of EV charging. (15>)* Discovers new real estate partnership opportunities through cold calls, B2B outreach, attending networking events, and facilitating leads from other groups within Electrify America. (15>)* Manages team's CRM tool to track and monitor all real estate leads and opportunities through business development cycle. Tracks key KPIs and presents progress frequently to management. (15>)* Facilitates communication and interaction between field team and real estate accounts as needed. Trains field team on use of CRM platform. (10>)* Works closely with Site Planning and Research team to identify industry trends, track new real estate developments and discover new business development opportunities with regional and national retail, hospitality and restaurant brands. (10>)* Leads the creation of presentation materials for business development efforts. Tracks and coordinates relevant analyses and subject matter expertise across organization for use in pitch collaterals. (10>)* Tracks developments in green buildings and LEED policies to identify 'make ready' opportunities with large workplace campuses, commercial and multi-unit dwelling real estate developers. (5>)* Provides benchmarks on land access (lease, license, purchase etc) deal terms by conducting frequent research on comparable industries. Provides cost-benefit analysis on lease vs buy opportunities. (5>)* Remains in frequent contact with site host clients maintaining strong relationships throughout and after installation, commissioning and operation of charging infrastructure. (5>)* Responds to site host complaints and resolves customer/driver issues to ensure the preservation of the account relationship and Electrify America's reputation. (5>)* Facilitates in-bound inquiries from interested site hosts and works with Site Planning and Acquisition to vet viability of locations and eligibility for investment.
