About the Business Line Construction ServicesOur talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client's unique needs. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner's representation to our clients around the globe. Job Summary Location: Miami, FLAssigned to a field construction organization in a general or single discipline supervisory position. Responsible for supervising and directing activities of construction craftsmen within an assigned area of responsibility. Directs sub-contractor activities within assigned areas.Areas of responsibility.Analyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and interfaces the requirements with others as designated.Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction Management.Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities.Assists superintendents in the preparation of construction methods, schedules, manning charts, material and equipment requirements.Supervises and directs subordinate non-manual personnel, as assigned.Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. Minimum Requirements 5+ years experience as a GC on construction projects, supervising trades.At least 3 years specialized experience in hotel/hospitality field.Specialized courses in construction management or equivalent experience and training.5+ years of experience in construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies.
