Requisition Number 17-0191 Post Date 4/26/2017 Title Senior HRIS Analyst City Sparks State MD Position Type Full-Time Description Develop and maintain a multi-year HCM roadmap for global Element HR; analyze future releases in conjunction with COE leaders and perform fit/gap analysis. Partner to design, prioritize, project manage and implement new functionality. Provide day to day support on HCM systems configuration, security, troubleshooting and reporting. Manage the HCM operation at Element including assuring integrity in the interaction with Element systems and compliance with Element security expectations, overseeing root cause analysis of software operational problems and installing the corrections, assessing and addressing software training needs, etc. * Manage information security for HR systems.* Identify and troubleshoot errors and functionality issues as they arise for all HR, Benefits and Payroll service processes (recruitment, employment, benefits, payroll, talent management, training and development, employee relations, compensation and regulatory reporting).* Maintain internal database files and tables. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all HR systems by running reports, auditing output, investigating errors, identifying reoccurring trends and taking corrective action regarding data integrity issues.* Coordinate HCM system upgrades and transitions, providing system design consultation and testing. Perform Quality Assurance Acceptance Testing of systems designed internally or externally. Design and deliver, or coordinate vendor efforts, to train HR staff members in HR systems.* Develop relationships and contacts to assist in managing data and projects related to third party HCM provider. Serve as the sole person in the business who has both full access to all HR data and an understanding of the activities, goals and strategies of HR and uses that unique position to:* Proactively identify data trends and relationships and provide input about which ones are important, what they mean to the business and how data can be used to track the issues in the future* Anticipate where HR data can make useful contributions to problem-solving and decision-making in the business and partner with the right HR colleagues, business leaders, or employee groups to accomplish that* Develop linkages to other internal business data, such as financial performance, to generate data that will help describe and improve business performance* Identify external data and sources to provide Element with performance benchmarks and comparative data for key metrics Partner with HR Operations Director in managing the relationship with HCM provider. Participate in vendor validation, selection, RFPs as appropriate. Provide technology support to the HR team to realize maximum efficiency and effectiveness that can be gained using HCM technology (performance management, on boarding, compensation, portal, talent, etc.) Responsible for HR reporting, both today's essential data reporting and consulting/delivering future capabilities for workforce analytics and other key metrics of employee performance and HR functional impact. Requirements * BA or BS required, prefer degree in business, finance, HR or IT specialties* Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT technical role - 2 of those years in HR application/UltiPro experience required* Proficient in MS Office and Outlook. Specific experience in the following software packages required: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, ServiceNow, Cognos* Project Management for a large data base or information system; experience in an HR environment (in any capacity) or with HRIS data preferred; system conversion experience a plus* Complex report writing experience with strong data manipulation skills* Experience with financial analysis, forecasting/modeling experience for highest levels of management including compensation modeling
