We are currently searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be responsible for managing Commercial receivables including reviewing delivery hold list, contacting past due accounts, and resolving billing issues. Maintain the Commercial aging, and providing monthly analytics to the Commercial Sales Teams. This position is also responsible for daily distribution of pricing to clients, and other tasks as needed.Review Commercial accounts on delivery hold and release deliveries as appropriate.Review open accounts for collection efforts.Possesses strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal and external clients.Make outbound collection calls (minimum of 45 calls a day), send emails or written correspondence in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.Review accounts for line of credits increase or decrease and provide suggestion to the Accounting Supervisor.Provide timely follow-up.Process transport loads including verifying quantity, product, price, and customer.Ability to work closely with Client Care and Commercial Sales Team while understanding the segregation of each team's duties.Process payments for Commercial accounts as specified by the client.Submit appropriate accounts to outside collection agencies.Review and process Smart Pay recalculations on Commercial accounts monthly.Advise management of problems or discrepancies as they arise.Assist your team during month end close out.Primary back up to the Delivery Coordinator.Some college preferred with emphasis in accounting, business administration, or management.Minimum of 3-5 years of professional corporate commercial collections work experienceProficiency in Microsoft products such as: Word, Outlook, and Excel are requiredAttention to detail and ability to work independentlyWell-organized with multi-tasking skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to analyze technical problems and come up with solutionsCollaborative, friendly, flexible work styleCommitment to values-driven and culturally diverse work environment
