It's an exciting industry with lots of areas where you can grow!The Director, Internal Audit is responsible for leading internal audit projects including audit planning, fieldwork, reporting and validation of management action plan completion. The position is also responsible for the evaluation of risk, governance and control processes and develop effective working relationships throughout the organization. Primary responsibilities include:* Develop audit plans and assemble teams with required skillsets* Execute field work and develop and issue audit findings and recommendations* Lead and supervise internal audit teams* Collaborate with management in the development of effective action plans in response to audit findings* Develop internal audit reports * Complete follow-up testing of management action plans Requirements Requirements: * BA/BS Degree in Business/Finance or related field and CPA required* At least 7 years' internal audit experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a manager role* Experience developing internal audit plans, and interacting with management to develop practical value-added business solutions that help to improve governance, risk management and internal control* Strong understanding of risk-based audit methodology and accepted risk and control frameworks* Demonstrated customer-focused approach to auditing; works to understand customer expectations and requirements* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills* Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization* Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, business environment* Ability to listen, ask questions and effectively explore alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain support and acceptance* Strong verbal communication, presentation, and written communication skills* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time* Candidates must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and be willing to comply with pre-employment testing including, but not limited to, drug testing and background checkElement Fleet Management is an equal opportunity employer.
