CLA is currently seeking Audit Associates (entry and experienced) to join our offices in the Washington DC Metropolitan area to support our Federal clients, providing outsourcing, assurance and audit. Our firm prides itself on hard work, team collaboration, relationship building, having fun and giving back to the community.Primary Responsibilities:*Must be able to work with a team of professionals on audit engagements and work closely with Senior Associates, Managers, and Partners in the audit process*Provide support on engagements and communicate effectively*Demonstrate strong research skills, capability to solve problems, and serve clients at a professional level at all times*Provide quality audit support services in accordance with the relevant regulations, government policies/procedures and client policies/procedure*Under direction of senior, proofs financial statements, audit reports and other documents*Identifies and reconciles discrepancies between schedules and financial statements Requirements *Performing specific audit steps under the supervision of a senior associate and / Management*Meet or exceed targeted chargeable billing hours and conduct analysis of client plans to determine what data is needed to complete a plan asset evaluation*Assist with business development activities: proposals, whitepapers, conferences, etc.*Perform other accounting and auditing duties as needed on engagements directed by supervisory personnelEducation Requirements:*Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management and/ specialty area is required*0-3 years general audit experience *Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)*Fulfillment of CPA educational requirements *Ability to travel if needed and must be a US citizen and (or) able to secure a security clearanceCliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is a professional services firm delivering integrated wealth advisory, outsourcing, and public accounting capabilities to help clients succeed professionally and personally.
