Credit and Collections Analyst
Wolters Kluwer is looking for a Credit and Collections Analyst to work out of our Frederick, MD office.Wolters Kluwer Global Business Services, is designed to provide services to the business units in the areas of technology, sourcing, procurement, legal, finance, and accounting which includes our North American-Accounting Center. These global centers promote team collaboration using best practices around a specific focus area to drive results and enhance operational efficiencies. As a Credit & Collection Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing accounts for past due items and collecting on accounts with past due balances, resolving moderately complex credit issues, and making recommendations regarding credit extension.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*Formulate a collection plan for assigned accounts*Contact customers to resolve past due balances*Work with other departments to resolve issues that prevent the customer from paying past due balances*Supply monthly progress report for assigned accounts*Special projects as assignedEducation:Minimum: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience Preferred: Bachelor's degree Experience:*4+ years of related work experience*Good organizational skills and good communication skills required*Ability to work independently, and take responsibility for projects*Understanding of the OnGuard collection software or SAP Billing systems preferred*Experience with high dollar/high volume customer account handling*Solid customer service skills or soft collection techniques needed to handle specific customer accounts such as law libraries and established legal firms*Must be proficient in Microsoft MS-365 Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Apply to:https://www.wolterskluwer.apply2jobs.com/ProfExt/index.cfm?fuseaction=mExternal.showJob&RID=16893&CurrentPage=1 ABOUT WOLTERS KLUWER Wolters Kluwer NV (AEX: WKL) is a global leader in information services and solutions for professionals in the health, tax and accounting, risk and compliance, finance and legal sectors.
