Come and help us make health care better for everyone.Description: Sr. Strategy Manager will 1) drive Markets planning processes, strategies and activities, and 2) supports enterprise integrated strategic planning processes and roadmap activities for given end-to-end Markets processes. Drives the implementation of Markets strategies and business plans; Ensures appropriate linkages between strategic plans, business plans and budget processes. Ensures collaborative relationships are built and maintained to advance functional and operational planning. Leads, makes significant contributions, and, or provides leadership to high visibility projects to identify and resolve issues of strategic importance to the organization. Acts as Markets liaison to key execution portfolios and activities to ensure Markets outcomes are achieved. Essential Duties:Leads Markets PlanningDrives the development of Markets business plans, goals and timelines as part of the annual operational planning cycle in collaboration with Finance and Human ResourcesWorks with Markets leaders to execute on key business plans/critical few initiatives and operational programsDetermines goals and priorities w/ management team sponsorsLeads critical initiatives that require cross team or business unit oversight as assignedParticipates in the identification of key business issues and the design of approachesProvides project management, management consulting and analytical decision support services for a broad array of strategic and operational issues across disciplines and functional areasSupports Enterprise Planning/Blueprint refresh within a given end-to-end processParticipates in and drives cross-functional planning and collaboration across functional teams and projects to maximize effectiveness of the plan within a given end-to-end processFacilitates value analysis and data driven modeling efforts, sequencing and prioritization activities across the end-to-end process and across functions to ensure alignment with BSC priorities and goalsEnsures that "end-to-end process" and "operational" plans are tightly integrated, detailed, measurable and executableSupports business case developmentWorks cross functionally to make sure strategies are aligned and synchronizedLeads, makes significant contributions, and/or provides leadership to high visibility projects to identify and resolve issues of strategic importance to the organizationIdentifies and analyzes strategic alternatives for the organization and makes recommendations to management where neededKnowledge will encompass entire scope of end-to-end and processes, with the ability to manage ongoing interactions with multiple business functions, work streams and contributorsMay lead special projects/committees/task forces Scans the external competitive environment to assess macro/micro trends that could affect BSC and their particular domain in relation to planning activities and roadmapsProduces or oversees development of written materials for senior executives and other key clientsPerform other duties as requestedReporting Structure: Reports to Sr. Director, Markets Planning/Portfolio Management
