Vacancies to be filled with a Temporary Not to Exceed (NTE) one year period appointment.  The selectee for this position serves as a DON PATHWAYS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (STUDENT TRAINEE-CLERK) can be selected at the GS-1 or GS-2 level in Washington Navy Yard, DC.

Salary range for GS-1:  $23,335 - $29,450

Salary range for GS-2:  $26,474 - $33,317

    Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual:  Applicants must possess be currently accepted for enrollment or are you enrolled in a qualifying educational institution (high school; 4-year college/university; community college; junior college; professional, technical, vocational, or trade school; advanced degree programs; or other qualifying education institutions) on a full or half-time basis and seeking a degree or certificate?  (NOTE: You must provide acceptable documentation of your appointment eligibility, by providing proof of current enrollment in the form of letters, records, or statements issued from a high school, vocational institution, college, or university, with your completed application.)

    Minimum qualifications for GS-1:  current enrollment in high school or General Education Diploma (GED) program.

    Minimum qualifications for GS-2:  must possess a high school diploma or have a GED diploma.

    QUALIFYING EDUCATION:
    1) A high school whose curriculum has been approved by a State or local governing body, or a home-school curriculum that has been approved by such a body or a State; and

    2) Any of the following educational institutions or curricula that have been accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the secretary of the U.S. Department of Education: (i) A technical or vocational school; (ii) A 2-year or 4-year college or university; (iii) A graduate or professional school (e.g., law school, medical school); or (iv) A home-school curriculum.
