Summary In addition to driving a commercially licensed vehicle in a safe and efficient manner from warehouse to job site, he/she acts as a crew leader in the loading and unloading of household goods, office furniture and other goods, this position performs disassembly/assembly and installation of various products including but not limited to household goods, art work, office furniture, home or other office products. Comprehension of sketches, diagrams to install such items with minimal to no supervision. MUST HAVE INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Provides a high level of customer service to ensure complete customer satisfaction Disassembles/reassembles and installs various types of free-standing furniture Disassembles/reassembles and installs various types of wall mounted electronics, furniture, pictures, wall art and mirrors per customer specifications Unloads and loads furniture into and out of trucks, warehouses, offices and residences Unloads and Other duties may be assigned Ability to read blueprints, sketches, diagrams and floor plans to determine proper placement and installation of various products Owns and maintains tool kit for the assembly/disassembly/reassembly and installation of various furniture, both residential and commercial/office as well as the mounting of electronics, artwork and mirrors Adheres to all OSHA and DOT regulations in accordance with Company Safety Policy Actively participates in moving materials, equipment, furniture, household goods including the packing and crating of valuables and hard-to-move items Responsible for maintain a clean, safe worksite, including assigned truck at all times Project/Practice Management Management of raw materials and/or finished materials with minimal assistance from the customer and/or project management team to effectively stage, move and install new product to conform to room diagrams established by the customer. Possess working knowledge of equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques and inspecting installed product for operability according to customer and/or manufacturer's guidelines. Possess and maintain the appropriate basic hand tools necessary to perform required duties. Communication Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion Technical Understanding Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and or oral instructions. Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities. Internal Operations Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solution. Complies with and helps enforce standards and policies and procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has some supervisory responsibilities by managing on-site crews to ensure efficient and effective service and installation to all clients Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
