Sodexo Corporate Services has an exciting opportunity as the Senior Manager, Finance for our Procter & Gamble Facilities accounts across the US, which encompasses 16 locations. Experience with contract management is a plus.The successful candidate may work virtually from a home office anywhere in the continental US, EST/CT time zones or at one of Sodexo's regional offices; however he/she must be near a major airport. The position requires approximately 10% travel.Responsibilities:Responsible for reviewing and analyzing and preparing financial reports related to the finance function. Analyzes, reviews and implements process improvement. Support a significant part of a project to enhance the internal and/or external financial reporting capabilities. Develop internal and/or external relationships to ensure maintenance and delivery of financial reports and information. Create dynamic client presentations demonstrating the Sodexo value proposition with Innovation applications and savings programs. Manages general accounting and financial reporting, cost accounting, auditing, budgeting and forecasting, and systems.Develops and maintains planning and budgeting systems, including analysis and interpretation of trends.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and statistics, including operating and administrative budgets.Ensure that assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses for responsibility area are accurately reported and accounted.Ensure that budgets and financial performance are in accordance with business strategic initiatives.Assist management with developing and monitoring account financial goals, forecasts, and resources.Ensure accuracy of operating and administrative budgets.Monitor and ensure accountability for financial performance, processes, and policies.Provide support to GM's/DM's/RVP's/DVP's in order to ensure accurate results and help improve profitability.Review and analyze financial statements and data, and other appropriate financial information to monitor attainment of financial goals.Prepare financial and management reports and procedures, and present findings and specific recommendations to senior management.Prepare financial statements and general ledger account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP, SEC, DCAA, and other regulatory requirements.Generate special reports and respond to data requests from management.Oversee the period end closing process, ensuring that related expenses are reported in accordance with GAAP.Examine financial records to verify details of recorded transactions.Perform ad hoc financial analysis (eg, capital expenditures, cash flow cost/benefit, lease vs. buy).Maintain the budgets for function, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income.Conduct and document quantitative analysis of financial data needed in planning, budgeting, cost control, project control, etc.#LIProvides a leadership role within a Finance function.
