As an Account Executive you will increase ePlus' revenue and market presence through effective selling into past, current and targeted customers. You will achieve growth objectives through prospecting, lead response and relationship building. You will evaluate customers' needs, and lead a team to develop a solution from concept to implementation.Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory or territories. Distinguished by having deep multiproduct knowledge in breadth and depth, as well as having significant record of success in sales. These incumbents are viewed as the top salesmen in the territory or territories being assigned to large, complex, highly visible, strategic, or tactically important accounts and could take the role of Key Account Directors as required. Will have a leadership and mentor role.Possesses a high level of technical sales expertise and sound business acumen. Extensive breadth and depth of knowledge and experience of sales account management at the highest level. has the skills to act as a Key Account Director. Competently communicates at the highest levels of management within the accounts managed. Will not have less than 12 years or experience and will in most instances have far more experience than this.This takes imagination, relentless client service, and the tenacity to enable our clients to achieve their visions. From strategy to fulfillment to managed services, our engineering-centric solutions enable our clients to realize what it means for technology to do more.Learn more about at: Responsibilities:Achieve growth objectives through prospecting, lead response, and relationship building with Mid-Tier and Fortune 1000 companiesQualify business opportunities by identifying scope of projects and initiatives, decision makers, stakeholders, and overall scope of opportunityDevelop new account relationships Maintain and grow existing client revenues through cross-selling of ePlus core competenciesEstablish and maintain manufacturer/partner relationships to develop joint sales opportunitiesDevelop and implement quarterly account marketing plan Provide monthly forecast and quarterly reviews for assigned territory Conduct business in a professional, competent and ethical manner 30% business travel is required Job Knowledge/Skills:Reside in local sales area. Knowledge of e-business solutions environment. Must demonstrate ability to qualify, penetrate, and close new accounts. Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and time management skills.Proven ability to leverage subject matter experts to further the sales process.Possess ability to work independently. Education and Experience:Proven success selling to Managed Accounts at the CXO and VP level.
