Position Title: Senior Recruiter/HR GeneralistStatus: Full-time/Exempt Location: Washington, DCClearance Req'd: None Position SummaryThe Senior HR Recruiter /Generalist position is considered a key support personnel role. The incumbent provides full cycle recruiting, administrative and technical support to the human resources department. This role will be comprised of 70% recruiting and 30% generalist duties and responsibilities. This job requires recruitment knowledge and/or experience, the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities, strong written and verbal communication abilities, proven organizational skills, and initiative, all of which to be balanced with the use of sound judgment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Recruiting) Develop and implement strategic initiatives and utilize recruitment best practices for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-state organization. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; writes and places compliant employment advertisements (EEO, ADA). Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet various compliance (OFCCP) and staffing goals. Partner with management to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives. Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring managers and business leaders. Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process. Manage the recruitment workflow utilizing ADP Workforce NOW, applicant tracking module. Perform all related administrative functions to properly document and track any applicants, active candidates, and/or employee referrals, on a daily basis; provide updates to management on a periodic, consistent basis Document and track relevant information as needed in order to generate any relevant reports for management/affirmative action reporting requirements Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects. Develop and implement search strategy that includes vendor selection process/management, job boards, state EDS (employment delivery service) and performance metrics for all searches. Develop and maintain career opportunities utilizing ADP Workforce NOW, applicant tracking module. Performs other related duties as required and assigned by the Director of Human Resources.Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Human Resources Generalist) Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. Participates in developing and executing department goals, objectives, and systems. Assists in the monitoring of the performance evaluation program. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains company organization charts, reporting structures and employee directory. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
