.Benefits Analyst - NOT A MANAGEMENT ROLE - $52-$55K. Annual bonus available. Location: Edinburg, VAWe are seeking a knowledgable Benefits Analyst with direct experience working with the funds ( not brokers) for the administration of employee benefit plans including compliance with state and federal regulations. The Analyst would resolve complex plan issues with Vendors. Provide guidance and training for HR Generalist on benefits policy and procedures. Administer 401(k) and Pension Plans. Responsible for all aspects of Retiree benefits administration.Prepare and file 5500's for welfare plans. Review and file 5500's for retirement plans. Prepare and distribute Summary Annual Reports for all benefits plans. Manage annual 401(k) audit and annual retirement plan audit with outside accounting firm. Annual audit of participant data for year-end compliance testing for 401(k) plans. Manage Open EnrollmentResp. for Reports of Payroll Information (verification of deductions, Recordkeeping, Process distributions, etc.). Verify eligibility and process deferral changes.Resolve FSA/HSA issues.Process retirement benefits/distributions for vested term employees. Recordkeeping.
