Our client company located in Chantilly, VA is immediately seeking to hire several Reimbursement Specialists for a new program within the organization.The Reimbursement Specialist will be responsible for the following:1. Handle day-to-day activity within a Patient Access support contact center.2. Assist in conducting primary research to ensure that health insurance benefits and/or other financial assistance (as directed by clients) are/is available to patients for the products related to the program activities.3. Respond to inbound inquiries (telephone, fax, email, etc.) from patients, caregivers, health care professionals, consumers, and payers concerning client product(s) as defined by program scope of work.4. Provide initial screening and enrollment for patient assistance, foundation programs, and/or all client driven initiatives.5. Follow standard operating procedures for all support-related activities. It is essential to maintain compliance with HIPAA at all times when handling protected health information.6. Resolve customer issues through troubleshooting. Escalate potential problems or issues that require the assistance of a Senior Foundation Specialist and/or management's immediate attention.7. Maintain working knowledge of program guidelines, FAQs, products, and disease state being referenced on the program(s).8.
