Our specialists are valued food safety experts, trusted by our customers in the food service and hospitality industry. We are seeking professionals to provide customized, comprehensive on-site evaluations and training in order to help our customers maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, guest experience and brand protection. These programs help our customers meet their specific quality standards through on-site evaluations and custom-designed training programs.Successful candidate must reside: within 15 miles of Baltimore, MDTerritory alignments are regularly reviewed and modified based on business need.Percent of overnight travel required: 25%What You Will Do:Conduct food safety, brand standard and workplace health and safety evaluations at customer locationsConsult, coach and train customers on the latest food safety, health, and sanitation practicesPartner with Account Management teams to solve customer challengesComplete a budgeted number of audits each week that creates a high level of customer satisfactionAccess and utilize key industry leading food safety practices and continual, active monitoring of health inspection informationProvision accurate reporting and provide effective customer communication and relationships What's In It For You:Paid training program that includes job shadowing, e-learning modules, structured field activities, and customized classroom style trainingBecome a NEHA Certified Professional in Food Safety (CP-FS) and maintain professional credentials on current industry state and federal regulationsReceive a company vehicle for business and personal usePlan and manage your schedule in a flexible, independent work environmentCarve out a long-term career path in operations, training, sales, or leadershipBasic Qualifications:Completed Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years food service or hospitality industry-related experience; OR completed Associate's Degree and 4+ years of food service or hospitality industry-related experienceWillingness to work occasional evenings, weekends and overtime as business needs dictateAbility to lift and carry 25 poundsAbility to inspect customer playgrounds by climbing, crawling in tight areas and going down tube slidesWillingness to complete operational assessments within nursing homes, assisted living, and senior living facilities by interacting with staff and residents while adhering to HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines.A valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordNo Immigration Sponsorship availablePreferred Qualifications:Registered Environmental Health Specialist or Registered Sanitarian credentialsExperience in food safety and brand standards evaluationsTeaching or coaching experience in a food related fieldStrong relationship management capability and advanced consulting skillsStrong planning and organizational skills and high attention to detailAbility to work effectively without supervision, showing initiative, good judgment and superior decision-making and problem solving skillsAbility to work well under pressure, juggle tasks and work efficiently against deadlinesA trusted partner at more than one million customer locations, Ecolab (ECL) is the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that protect people and vital resources.
