Join with us and start doing your life's best work.The Rx Preparation Technician is responsible for working cooperatively with other technicians and other departments to ensure compliance with all product, quality, and safety standards are met. The successful Rx Preparation Technician will participate in the team environment to ensure adequate workflow throughout the internal customer supply chain, satisfying all productivity quotas. Primary Responsibilities:Open and scan UPS deliveries into the DVI systemPrep customer jobs using the RX prescriptionDocument work transactions and completed activities on approved formsStage and sort trays, prep materialsParticipate in all Lean Manufacturing initiatives and daily routinesMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresPerform basic cleaning of room surfaces and equipmentPerform related duties as assigned by supervisorRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDAbility to navigate through a PC including daily use of email and Microsoft ExcelPreferred Qualifications:Bilingual (Spanish)6+ months of an Optical background (doctor's office, eye clinic, lens warehouse distributor)Physical Requirements and Work Environment:Ability to stand up for long periods of time (6 - 8 hours)Careers at UnitedHealth care Employer & Individual.
