Our client, a growing family-owned business in Fairfax, VA, is seeking an accounting assistant for a contract to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry. Primary Responsibilities: The Accounting Assistant will assist with AR - create invoices and process payments Collections The Accounting Assistant will update company vendor rebates Back-up for receptionQualifications: Excel and Word skills required; QuickBooks experience a plus Detail oriented .and organized Solid communication skills College degree is a plus - HS diploma is required
