Food + Beverage Director ABOUTOur Client is an anti-establishment establishment built on the renown of its creative food and craft beverages, localized shop design, and the strength, unity, and vibe of its living-wage-paid ampersand-tattooed Tribe. Work hard, live fast, THE GIGThe Food + Beverage Director will act as the strategic business leader of our food and beverage operation at our hotel location which includes a full-service bar + restaurant, an award winning fast casual pizza shop and a seasonal rooftop lounge. The position ensures our operation meets the brand's target guest needs, ensures Tribe satisfaction, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance. . This position develops and implements strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target guests and Tribe, and provides a return on investment. The Food + Beverage Director will report to the Head of Operations and will be responsible for partnering with owner relations. RESPONSIBILITIESGuest Service// Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest and personal services. This includes guest needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of guest satisfaction.Financial Management// Determining how money will be spent to get the work done, and accounting for these expenditures.Administration Management // Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Business Knowledge// Understanding market dynamics, enterprise level objectives and important aspects of the company's business to accurately diagnose strengths and weaknesses, anticipate opportunities and risks, identify issues, and develop strategies and plans.// Aligning individual and team actions with strategies and plans to drive business results.Management of Material Resources// Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.Developing and Maintaining Food and Beverage/Culinary Goals// Sets expectations and holds food and beverage leadership team accountable for demonstrating desired service behaviors.// Reviews financial reports and statements to determine how Food and Beverage is performing against budget.// Establishes challenging, realistic and obtainable goals to guide operation and performance.Developing + Maintaining Budgets// Monitors the department's actual and projected sales to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded and opportunities are identified and addressed.REQUIREMENTS// Undergraduate degree preferred in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major// 5-6 year's experience in food and beverage, culinary, and event management WE PROVIDE// Unmatched growth opportunity - no ceilings // Medical, dental, and vision benefits// Short + long term disability + life insurance // Company bonus program// Option to participate in company 401k NO JOB HOPPERSA Leading Executive Search Firm Since 1982, Millman Search Group is a premier executive recruiting firm, setting standards of excellence nationally.
