You will work hands on with our telephony,video conference and Unified Communications platforms to help ensure highavailability of those systems. Responsibilities. PerformMoves, Adds and Changes and administration on Avaya PBX, Avaya voicemailsystems, Cisco WebEx and Skype for Business Enterprise Voice and Zoom.. AdministerPolycom video conference endpoints and ensure conference room readiness. Assistwith performing system health and alarm checks and escalate to engineering asneeded. Workclosely with UC Manager, help desk technicians, systems engineers and endusers to identify, track and resolve issues. Workwith end users to understand issues, troubleshoot and resolve. SupportAV technology setup for meetings and events. Assistwith Unified Communications projects such as upgrades and migrations. Developand/or update documentation as needed Minimum Qualifications. BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field. 1+ Years of IT support, preferably in telecom or unified communications. General understanding of network infrastructure and components. General understanding of telephony concepts - PBX, circuits, dial plans, routing. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Analytical mindset and ability to think through issues and problem solve. Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent activities and changing priorities. Willingness to stretch and learn new technologies and platforms Preferred Qualifications. Experience with PBX / VoIP system administration. Experience with Lync/Skype for Business, Blue Jeans or Zoom.. Experience with conference room technologies - AV, video conference, Polycom.
