Senior Human Resources Generalist (Herndon, VA) Dulles Health & Rehab Center, in Hopewell, VA, has a career opportunity for a dynamic Senior HR Generalist to round out our team that is responsive, compassionate and caring to the needs of our patients, residents and their families.Dulles Health & Rehab Center provides a resident-centered, customer service approach to care by qualified staff that values quality and commits to compliance and higher standards. We are doing more than just challenging the status quo - We are changing lives!Successful service excellence candidates will have the following qualifications and ability to: Plan, coordinate and oversee all HR functions to maximize the strategic use of HR and maintain functions such as employee relations, recruitment, orientation, retention, benefits, training & development, compliance and workers' compensation. Identify, analyze and resolve complex HR issues as well as foster collaborative working relationships. Facilitate the process of communication and serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies and helping resolve work-related problems (for example - coaching, counseling and terminations). Coordinate the recruitment, assessment and selection of applicants. Develop, implement, and monitor new employee orientation, development and training to foster positive attitude toward organization objectives and service excellence. Ensure that human resources programs are planned, implemented, and evaluated to meet resident and staff cultural diversity needs and service excellence. Provide guidance to management and employees on employee relations-related issues, complaints, or problems. Assist manager with creating employee development plans to address behavior or performance issues. Manage multiple priorities and excellent attention to detail. Promote and demonstrate a Service Excellence culture.Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of HR experience or master's degree in Human Resources Management and 2 years of HR experience or any similar combination of education and experience. PHR certification preferred. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication and customer service skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
