This Vice President functions as the strategic business leader for the restaurant and bar global discipline Center of Expertise (COE), which comprises design and operations strategies for restaurants, bars and foodservice across the company's hotels globally. The leader will provide deep discipline expertise, advice and connectivity to ensure best practice sharing across the Continents, as well as Brand, Discipline and Global Operations (GO) support. The Leader champions cross-Continent discipline connectivity by leading and working through the discipline's Global Leadership Team (GLT) to identify and align on priority initiatives including the recognition of larger platform opportunities.This individual drives strategies, including a discipline-specific business strategy, to support synergies between discipline areas and brands, and support continual investment in resources to ensure the talent is in place to provide quality support on assigned projects. The role is responsible for providing restaurant and bar support for key projects, while ensuring the integrity of the concept and design development processes through soft opening, tracking projects and reporting progress to the Senior Vice President, Food & Beverage and global discipline leaders. This VP will also support other F&B brand segment and portfolio work as needed based on broader F&B team priorities.In addition, the VP, Restaurant and Bar will be responsible for leading beverage driven initiatives across the company's 30 brands and management of the company's global beverage program.
