Responsibilities:* Responsible for responding to incoming calls from drivers and suppliers and resolving inquiries concerning technical and non-technical work.* Provide service assistance and directions.* Negotiate repair prices when appropriate and issue authorizations for valid repairs to lower the client's automotive maintenance repair costs while ensuring repairs which are essential to the safe operation of the vehicles.This position is a customer service oriented position and will not provide the opportunity for hands-on automotive repair in a shop environment* High school education or equivalent. We will consider a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in the automotive/service industry in lieu of the HS diploma. * Active ASE Certification Preferred. Element will consider non-ASE Certified candidates who, as a condition of employment, agree to obtain their ASE Certification within 12 months of employment* 3 years hands-on automotive mechanic experience and 2 years customer service experience. * Ability to make decisions using established procedures and company policies as guidelines.* Interpersonal influencing and negotiation skills.* Strong PC skills.* Team player who enjoys working with clients and suppliers on a daily basis.
